THIS IS NOT AN EVENT ON 9/21. THIS IS FOR ACCESS TO THE RECORDED ONE HOUR WEBINAR FROM 8/14 - AI in School Psychology: Moving from "What Is This?" to "How Do I Use This Well?" with Dr. Byron McClure, as well as your NECASP annual dues, and ONE YEAR of Sophia AI! You will have access to the recording through 9/21 and this offer expires on 9/21.

Session Description:

Here's what I've learned after almost 2 years of helping School Psychologists learn about AI: most of you have moved past asking whether you should use it. You're already beginning to use AI for report writing, and you've probably discovered it can help with IEP goals, summarizing, and other basic tasks. The real question now is how to use these tools skillfully and while continuing to use them responsibly.

In this session, we'll focus on what actually matters in your daily practice. I'll show you the specific prompts and techniques that work for common school psychology tasks, and we'll practice together so you leave confident rather than confused. You'll see real examples of AI-assisted reports, behavior plans, and parent communications that maintain your professional voice while saving you significant time.

We'll address the practical concerns that: How do you know when the AI got something wrong? What do you do when it suggests something that doesn't fit your student? How do you maintain your clinical judgment when the tool is so convincing? These are the questions that matter, and we'll work through them using real scenarios from school psychology practice.

You'll learn advanced applications you might not have considered: using AI to analyze behavior data patterns, generate multiple intervention options for complex cases, create strength-based language that resonates with families, and develop comprehensive transition plans. We'll also explore how AI can help you explain complex psychological concepts to teachers and parents in ways they actually understand and remember.

This session is the AI literacy you need, presented in a fun, engaging, non-threatening way, so you can get started using AI at the pace of your own comfort.

You'll leave with practical strategies you can immediately use, refined prompts, and a clear sense of how to integrate these tools into your existing workflow without compromising the quality or authenticity of your work.
